Description
This baby Moses basket comes in a size of 17.5" width and 29" length, which ideally fits baby lounger nests and loungers, including DockAtot, Snuggle Me loungers, pods, and our Anzy Home's baby lounger.
The round hood will create a shade so you can move a bassinet in the house to ensure a baby is always within the mom’s sight.
The increased width and height make this model long-lasting. The XL bassinet will be convenient for a baby from birth to approximately 6-9 months. At the same time, it does not need a lot of space in comparison with the conventional crib.
Tip: For the first months use it with the lounger, creating a snuggly sleeping space for a newborn. Then change to the flat mattress and allow more room inside for the growing one.
Baby Moses baskets made by Anzy Home are unique products of premium quality. We hand-crochet the bassinets using 100% hypoallergenic cotton yarn, OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 certified.
The design of our hand-woven bassinet is inspired by the Scandinavian minimalistic style. The authentic hand-crocheting technique allows a plain sturdy structure of the basket's walls and handles.
2 decorative tassels make the look cosier and act as tiny colour accents.
With an appropriate Anzy Home's rocking stand, the XL Moses Basket can be placed near a bed in a bedroom or easily moved from room to room to allow keep an eye on the baby all the time.
The Bassinet bottom is made of thick plywood and is ready to support a baby up to approx. 22 lbs (approx. 10 kg).
The baby mattress is filled with a coconut filler, which is safe for infants, hypoallergenic, environmentally friendly, has no odour, and does not absorb moisture (a full description of the mattress is here).
WARNING! Stop using the Baby Moses Basket as soon as the child is able to sit unaided, pull itself up or push up on its hands and knees.

Safe by design and structure
The Moses Basket has a wooden bottom made of high end grade birch plywood, which is very sturdy and does not bend.
Together with the coconut baby mattress or baby lounger it forms a firm surface suitable for newborn sleep.
Designed for babies from birth to 6-9 months
This type of the Moses basket is used for first 6-9 months of a baby's life. But we prefer to consider the weight rather than the age.
Anzy Home's bassinets are good for babies up to 22 lb (approx. 10 kg) or until baby starts to roll over, push up or crawl, depending on what comes first.

The Anzyhome moses basket, stands, pads, and sheets are a beautifully made system for newborn infants. The build is of high quality, we love the aesthetic of it, and we love some of the functionality (for example, having different height stands that the basket can drop into). However, there are also some issues: 1.) Don't expect to be able to easily carry the basket in one hand with or without an infant in it. The handles look like they should allow this, but we didn't find it to be feasible. The handles are placed in such a way that it looks like it carries well, almost like a suitcase. However, while the handles are well built and durable, they are bulky enough + short enough + far apart enough that it is hard to get a good grasp of the basket in one hand. With an infant in it, the problem is even worse - and with high consequences. We've decided that the grasp is poor enough that it'd be quite dangerous to one-hand the basket with our baby in it, and often it doesn't even feel secure to one-hand it without a baby. I wish the handles were a bit thinner and longer so that you could carry the basket easily in one hand - even if they officially recommend not doing this with a baby for obvious liability reasons. 2.) The basket can be easily mis-mounted on the stand such that it looks secure but is not. There are two little wooden pieces on the bottom of the basket that symmetrically nest well with the crossbars of the stand. However, if you place the basket down one inch forward or one inch backward of center... it will still visually look quite centered and secure, but actually isn't and could slip off. Multiple different family members have independently made this mistake and fortunately caught it (by having to crouch down and closely look/feel). It'd be nice if the basket-stand engagement were more obviously correct or incorrect with visual, tactile, or auditory aids. 3. The stand's curved rocker tracks sticking out each end look nice, but when you go to stand close to the basket, you can easily accidentally step on the protruding rocker "foot"... which then can violent rock the basket toward you as your weigh lands on the rocker and cause quite a startle. If the vertical legs went to the end of the curved rocker tracks such that there was no protruding foot portion, there would be nothing to accidentally step on. We want so much to fully love this product, but these caveats are preventing us from being there. Hopefully it can be improved in time!
The lounger wasn’t in my order and they have quickly fixed their mistake. They have been great and the product is adorable.

We were so excited to receive this off of our registry, it is functional but also adds the perfect cozy look to our bedroom instead of having something larger and bulky. The quality exceeded my expectations and I am so happy and can’t wait to use it this fall!
