Wash in the washing machine at a temperature not exceeding 30 C (86 F). Use a liquid detergent and spin at 800-1000 rpm. Dry on a flat surface horizontally and well straightened to avoid strong bends. Avoid drying at direct sunlight.

Allow the carpet lay for a while on the floor and it will unfold under its own weight. To speed up the process you can use steam iron the carpet.
